Ceremony Held
in Cleveland Hotel

Joanne Garfinkel and David Mark Sonenshine, who met on a train headed for Budapest, were married on August 8, 2004 at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Cleveland.

Rabbi Philip Silverstein, of Columbia, S.C., performed the ceremony under a Chupah laden with leafy branches.

The bride is the daughter of Howard and Terri Garfinkel of Shaker Heights, Ohio. The groom is the son of Gerald and Nancy Sonenshine of Columbia.

In a departure from tradition, David had two best men --Jason Goldberg and Jeffrey Milman. Jessica Dodson was matron of honor and Carin Riekes was maid of honor.

The groomsmen were Richard Davis, Raanon Gaf, Jason Levy, Joshua Mintz and Todd Roth. The bridesmaids were Hallee Altman, Rachel Martin, Lisa Rogers, Emily Sonenshine and Kimberly Resnick Wynbrandt.

Also in the wedding party were grandparents Gloria Frischi, Matiel Lefler and Mickey and Irving Sonenshine.

After a honeymoon in St. Thomas, the couple will live in Washington, D.C.
